As submitted by Regional Office, the project proponent has proposed to use 80.5 KLD of fresh water. It will generate approx. 64.4 KLD of domestic effluent. The project proponent has proposed to install STP of capacity 100 KLD based on MBBR technology followed by tertiary treatment. The project will reuse domestic effluent @ 34 KLD approx. in dual plumbing and rest amount of domestic effluent @ 30.44 KLD approx. will be discharged onto land for plantation after treatment in its STP. At this stage, the project is under establishment, the theoretical use of treated waste water can be adjudged only after commissioning and actual use by the project proponent through metering system. Further, the project proponent has proposed to develop plantation in an area of around 9 kanals for disposal of treated domestic effluent. The plantation area is located adjoining and backside to the project and presently, crops are grown in it. The project proponent submitted that in this land tree plantation will be provided as per Karnal Technology for the disposal of the treated effluent left after use in dual plumbing.
