The project proponent has proposed to establish a new petrol pump of M/s Nayara Energy, under small scale green category for setting up retail outlet of Petrol & Diesel @ 10000 Ltr/day at Village Kadial, Tehsil Dirba And District Sangrur, without generating any trade effluent or source of air emission. The domestic effluent @ 1.2 KLD will be discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.
The project proponent has deposited NOC fee of Rs. 2700/- (Rs. 2200/- NOC fee + Rs. 500/- application fee) vide UTR. No. 409513409 dated 23/01/2024 against the projected cost of Rs. 34.36 Lacs, which is adequate for one year.
The project proponent has submitted Letter of Intent (LOI) issued by M/s Nayara Energy for setting up retail outlet at NH52 having khasra no. 106//22/2(1-2)23/1/1(1-0)23/2/1(2-0)111//3/1(4-0) Village Kadial, Taluka-Dirba, District Sangrur.
The site of the project was also visited by the officer of this office on 09/02/2024 and observed as under:
1. The site of the unit is located at Village Kadial, Taluka-Dirba, District Sangrur.
2. Presently the land of the project is lying vacant.
3. There is no gas pipe line, hospital, educational institute, residential colony/house/area, water source and religious place within 50 mtr of the proposed site.
4. As per the project proposal, there will no generation of any trade effluent and there will be no source of air emission.
5. The industry has proposed to discharge its domestic effluent onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.
Thus, the site is suitable for setting up retail outlet in the proposed land.
In view of the above, it is recommended that NOC/consent to establish may be granted to the project proponent for setting up retail outlet of Petrol & Diesel @ 10,000 ltr/day at Village Kadial, Tehsil Dirba And District Sangrur with suitable conditions and special condition that the outlet will be bound to comply with the conditions imposed by M/s Nayara Energy.
