It is submitted that agenda has been generated and complete details have been given in attached pdf file which may shall be perused. As per details attached It is recommended that the varied consent to operate to the CETP operator under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted for one year i.e. upto 31.12.2024 by also keeping in view of light of the decisions of its personal hearing dated 11.01.2024 and special conditions that: -
1. The CETP operator shall submit pending bank guarantee in compliance to the decisions of personal hearing given by Board competent authority.
2. The CETP operator shall complete its pending work of its expansion on priority basis in speeding manner.
3. The CETP operator shall execute all measures at site suggested and recommended by third party audit report by the team of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Punjab Technical University, Bathinda.
4. The CETP operator shall complete the compliance of the all previous hearing decisions taken by the competent authority of the Board.
5. The CETP operator shall provide adequate storage and handling arrangement for its hazardous waste sludge.
6. The CETP operator shall submit the operating manual of its e-tracking/GPS tracking/ Geo tagging of its e-governance system.
7. The CETP operator shall obtain Environmental Clearance under the EIA notification 2006, if required and shall comply with the EIA notification 2006 as amended from time to time.
8. The CETP operator shall ensure the proposed expansion is on ZLD system and the CETP operator shall not discharge treated/ untreated wastewater into sewer under any circumstances.
9. The CETP operator shall submit plan regarding handling & management of hazardous waste after proposed expansion and shall obtain authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016.
The competency to decide the application lies with Hon’ble Chairman of the Board.
