The report and recommendation of Ro may be perused. Earlier the industry was found discharging trade effluent in to sewer. Accordingly the industry was issued Direction for disconnection of electric connection along with the sealing of polluting machinery.
The electric connection has not been disconnected yet and polluting machinery has been sealed by the RO. As per report from Ro the industry has closed all the outlets of electroplating process leading to sewer.
May if approved: -
1. Directions be issued for de-sealing of polluting machinery for Six months along with directions to PSPCL authority for not to disconnect electric connection upto six months.
2. The consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry for six months.
