• The industry was visited by Regional Office on 12.02.2024 and it has been reported as under:

• One rotary filter installed in blowing section and 2 static filters installed in spinning section for control of fluff emissions..........

• Ginning section was not in operation............
• Two ginning sections installed, one with 12 roller gin machines and other with 3 sawgin machines..........
• Pneumatic handling of raw cotton and ginning material has been adopted by the industry in roller ginning section and overhead hoods have been provided, which are further connected with the cyclone installed as APCD..........
• The industry has covered all the sides with meshsheet to control the fluff emissions..............

• STP installed & was in operation............
• Land developed under plantation is 2.5 acres................
• Effluent sample collected during the visit and the results are yet awaited..............
RECOMMENDATIONS
In view of above, if approved, CTO under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 subject to the following conditions:.....
1. The industry shall operate its STP regularly and scientifically and shall maintain proper record of the effluent generated/treated...........
2. The industry will get its effluent/emission sample analysed from the Board’s Lab/approved Lab of the Board as per the policy of the Board...........
3. The industry will ensure compliance of MOEF notification no. GSR546(E) dt. 30.08.2005............
