Sir, the industry has provided plantation area of about 0.5 acres, which is adequate enough to manage the quantum of discharge i.e. 12 KLD. Further, treated trade effluent sample of the industry was collected on 24.01.2024 and as per the analysis report received from the Boards lab the concentration of various parameters are found as pH = 7.9, TSS = 10 mg/l, TDS = 499 mg/l, COD = 52 mg/l, BOD = 11 mg/l and Oil & Grease = BDL. All the parameters are within the limits prescribed by the Board.
Keeping in view of the above, it is therefore recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2026 with usual terms & conditions.
