It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to operate under the water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/FZR/2024/24805351 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/FZR/2024/24805297 dated 06.02.2024 for manufacturing of Saila Rice /Steam Rice @ 84 MTD, Steamed Rice/ Raw Rice @ 104 MTD and Sorted Rice @ 132 MTD, valid for a period upto 30.06.2028, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Saila Rice /Steamed Rice @ 84 MTD, Steamed Rice/ Raw Rice @ 104 MTD and Sorted Rice @ 188 MTD. Details of the case are as under:-
1) The industry has submitted requested regarding correction of certificate issued earlier for the capacity of sortex machine from sorted rice @ 132 MTD to sorted rice @ 188 MTD and there is no change in the other production capacity.
2) The industry has already submitted copy of CA certificate dated 29.01.2024, showing value of gross fixed assets of Rs. 997.45/- (including value of plant & machinery of Rs. 834.80/-) as on 25.01.2024. Consent to operate fee already deposited by the industry under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 is adequate for a upto 30.06.2028, under red category.
The industry has already been visited by the undersigned on 27.01.2024 and found complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 as well as code of practice prescribed by the Govt. order dated 15.10.2013.
In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for same production capacity i.e. manufacturing of Saila Rice /Steamed Rice @ 84 MTD, Steamed Rice/ Raw Rice @ 104 MTD and revised production of Sorted Rice @ 188 MTD for a period upto 30.06.2028, subject to the suitable conditions.
