The project proponent has proposed to establish a new petrol pump under small scale green category for Petrol & Diesel @ 10000 Ltr/day at Village Dhanaula, District Barnala, of M/s Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., without generating any trade effluent. The domestic effluent @ 0.8 KLD will be discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.
The project proponent has deposited NOC fee of Rs. 2700/- (Rs. 2200/- NOC fee + Rs. 500/- application fee) deposited vide UTR. No. 536771137 dated 10/02/2024 against the proposed project cost of Rs. 44.7 Lacs, which is adequate.
The project proponent has submitted report issued by Naib Tehsildar, Dhanaula vide dated 05.2.2024, wherein, it is mentioned that the said project is falls in khasra no. 410//10/2(5-15), 411//6/1(2-0). There is no gas pipe-line, hospital, school, residential colony and religious place in the 50 mtr area.
The project proponent has submitted project report, site plan and Letter of Intent issued by M/s Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
The site of the project was also visited by the officer of this office on 15/02/2024 and observed as under:
1. The site of the unit is located at Village Dhanaula and District Barnala.
2. Presently the land of the project is lying vacant.
3. There is no gas pipe line, hospital, educational institute, approved residential area/colony, water source and religious place within 50 mtr of the proposed site. However, there is only one building having 4 labor rooms in this building falls within 50 mtr of the site. There is also no high tension wire passes over the site. Hence, the site is suitable for establishment of proposed petrol pump.
4. As per the project proposal, there will no generation of any trade effluent and there will be no source of air emission.
5. The industry has proposed to discharge its domestic effluent onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.
6. The project proponent has proposed to install a D.G set of capacity 25 KVA equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.
7. The project proponent has assured that it will be bound to comply with the guidelines issued by CPCB/PPCB.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the project proponent may be issued consent to establish/NOC for setting up proposed petrol pump with usual conditions and special condition that
1. The petrol pump will be bound to comply with the guidelines issued by the CPCB vide its notification no. 10802-10847 dated 07.01.2020.
2. The petrol pump will be bound to comply with the conditions imposed in Letter of Intent issued by M/s Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
