The report/recommendations of the Regional Office may kindly be perused……………………..
The industry is a medium scale orange category residential colony. After scrutinizing the application, it was observed that –
1. The project proponent has not installed its own STP for treatment of domestic effluent generated from colony.
2. The project proponent has submitted a letter from MC regarding sewer connection but same was not clear that whether permission is granted to the project proponent for discharge of treated domestic effluent or untreated domestic effluent into sewer.
3. The Map attached by the project proponent is not clear. The total area of project mentioned in application form is 143461.1 sq. meter. It is a group housing project with plotting. The built up area of the project is more than 20,000 sq. meter. Hence, the project is covered in EC.
4. The project proponent has not submitted the latest approval/approved layout plan from the GLADA with clear cut detail of total land area/built up area etc.
5. The project proponent has not proposed any detail regarding utilization of treated effluent for various purposes such as back flushing, green belt etc.
6. The project proponent has not submitted the detail of Solid waste generation and its disposal arrangements. The colony has not provided Bio composter/composting pits.
It is further informed that notice u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with personal hearing before CEE has been already be approved vide e-noting 23399254.
In view of above, may, If approved, notice u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with personal hearing before CEE, please.
