Sir, the industry has submitted the reply of SCN stating that "we had installed a baby boiler of capacity 500 kg which doesn’t required APCD and we had provided an adequate stack with the same & using wood as fuel. You are requested to grant the consents please."
In view of above, it is recommended that: 1. Renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the period of further six month with suitable terms and conditions. 2. Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 be issued to the PSPCL authorities for restoration of electric supply of the industry temporarily for the period of further six month.
