The project proponent has applied for obtaining 'Consent to establishment' (NOC for first time) under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for establishment of INDUSTRIAL PLOTS (14.92 ACRES), RESERVED AREA (0.1143 ACRES) and COMMERCIAL SHOPS (0.27 ACRES).
The project proponent has filled online application form, uploaded project report, manufacturing process, copy of registries Copy of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Feasibility report of STP of capacity 200 KLD, copy of letter issued by Senior Town Plan bearing no. 1538 dated 01.11.2023, Retirement deed, Resolution certificate, GLADA letter bearing no. 2079 dated 20.11.2023, site plan location plan, Incorporation certificate, Tehsildar report.
The project proponent has deposited Rs. 21600 vide no. POD006184319 dated 18.12.2023 as NOC fee. Rs. 500 vide no. POD006184319 dated 18.12.2023 as application form fee Adequate for one year.
The subject cited industrial colony was visited by officer of this office on 23.02.2024 & it was observed as under:-
1. The proposed site of the unit falls in village Kotla and Sahnewal Kalan, Tehsil Sahnewal, Distt. Ludhiana.
2. The project proponent has earmarked the boundary of the proposed industry and no construction of was undergoing during the visit.
3. The project proponent has proposed to install STP based on MBBR technology. The total area of the proposed industrial colony is 24.7799 acre and the 142 KLD effluent will be REUSED BACK THROUGH UF/RO, 40 KLD RO REJECT ONTO LAND FOR PLNTATN AFTER STP has been proposed.
4. The project proponent has proposed to install 2 D.G sets with adequate stack height.
5. As per revenue department report, the site of the proposed project is meeting with the siting guidelines framed by the Board for such type of industries.
6. The site is suitable for such types of establishments.
7. The competency to decide the application lies with Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office-I, Ludhiana.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for one year with suitable terms and conditions, please.
