The industry is a large scale red category residential colony. After scrutinizing the application, it was observed that –
1. The project proponent has not installed its own STP for treatment of domestic effluent generated from colony.
2. The project proponent was granted exemption from SEIAA for installation STP with the condition that waste water will be discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. The Regional Office has not submitted the detail of the plantation area developed by the colony.
3. Regional Office has not commented upon the water meter record if any maintained by the colony.
4. The project proponent has not proposed any detail regarding utilization of treated effluent for various purposes such as back flushing, green belt etc.
5. The project proponent has not submitted the detail of Solid waste generation and its disposal arrangements. The colony has not provided Bio composter/composting pits.
If approved, Regional Office may be asked to clarify as above, please.
