Sir, the industry has submitted online reply dated 09.02.2024 w.r.t. SCN issued and to check the compliance, the industry was visited on 23.2.2024 and it was observed that-
1. The rice sheller has now provided septic tanks for treatment of the domestic effluent and disposal onto land for plantation.
2. The rice sheller has provided cyclone as APCD with shelling section as well as with the paddy cleaner of the Dryer section to arrest the dust emissions.
3. The rice sheller has also provided sampling arrangement i.e. platform with staircase for safe sampling.
4. The rice sheller has provided pucca road in the movement area of the rice sheller.
5. The rice sheller has provided jail over the 10 feet in the husk storage area.
6. The rice sheller has provided adequate plantation along the boundary wall in the premises.
The industry is now complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. if approved the CTO under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the rice sheller upto 30.09.2028 with suitable conditions please.
