Submitted as per earlier recommendations given vide note dated 14.02.2024, it is again recommended that:
A. Electric connection of the CETP may be restored for further six months.
B. The decision regarding deposition of Bank Guarantee amounting to Rs. 10 lacs from the new operator may be reviewed.
C. The application of the CETP for grant of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for treatment of electroplating effluent may be considered for six months for the area already demarked i.e. SAS Nagar, Rupnagar, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala along with electroplating/pickling effluent of Chandigarh, subject to suitable conditions as per the policy of the Board, please.
