Sir, it is submitted that the hospital earlier which was consent under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, both are expired on 31.03.2021.
Now, the HCF has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & consent to operate u/s 21 of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS with requisite documents. The HCF has deposited Rs. 10000/- under Water and Rs. 10000/- under Air Act, 1981 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974 both are adequate upto 30.06.2028.
And, as per circular no. 329 dated 14.09.2023, ‘the Board has decided to facilitate the entrepreneurs with “Auto generation of renewal of consent to establish/operate/authorization of any category of Small scale industries/projects/Health care Facilities (upto 50 beds) and Hazardous Waste generation industries” on the basis of self-declaration by these entrepreneurs and shall be without any inspection/ physical verification by the officers of the PPCB.
The industry is small scale red category unit and has submitted self-declaration in the prescribed Performa which is enclosed alongwith the application.
If approved, consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the HCF for short term i.e. upto 30.06.2028 with usual conditions and special condition that the HCF shall comply with the Bio Medial Rules, 2016.
