Sir, the industry is small scale red category unit and was earlier granted consent to establish (NOC) under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 expired on 10/03/ for installation of Induction Furnace of capacity 0.5 T/heat.
Now, the industry has applied for NOC for expansion under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for installation of Induction Furnace of capacity 1 T/heat and one cupola furnace.
On perusal of application, it has been observed as under :-
1. The industry has proposed to install one cupola furnace. The industry has not submitted feasibility report regarding installation of APCD.
2. The industry has proposed to install Induction Furnace of capacity 1 T/heat. However, as per PSCST certificate, there are two Induction Furnaces of capacities 1 T/heat and 0.5 T/heat.
If approved, show cause notice for refusal of 'Consent to Establish' (NOC for exp) under the Water Act 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with hearing at ZO level, please.
