Sir, the industry is a small scale orange category unit and was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 30.09.2023 for manufacturing of Rough Steel Forgings items @ 09 TPD using various grades of iron & steel @ 11 TPD.
Now, industry has applied for varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, without NOC of the Board.
The industry has made expansion without NOC of the Board by installing 1 induction heater and 02 shot blasting machines.
The industry has not submitted compliance of conditions of consent to operate granted to it in annotated form.
The industry has not submitted detailed drawing of re-circulation system and not submited details of plantation area for discharge of domestic effluent.
If approved, show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water Act 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with hearing at ZO level, please.
