| Clarification Note: |
The application of the project proponent has been scrutinized and it was observed as under:
1. The project proponent is required to submit license for setting up of residential colony as granted by the Competent Authority.
2. The project proponent is required to submit layout plan of the proposed residential colony as approved by the Competent Authority.
3. The layout plan submitted by the PP does not show the location of the project STP plant to be installed for treatment of proposed domestic effluent 141 KLD.
4. The project proponent has proposed to discharge the treated domestic effluent @ 141 KLD, directly into MC sewer. However, as per Board’s notification no. 315 dated 3/7/2018, "The project proponent shall make arrangements to re-use the treated effluent for flushing purposes and/or for watering of green areas in the project premises. Only the surplus treated waste water shall be discharged into the MC sewer. therefore, the PP is also required to clearly mention the scheme for re-utilization of treated wastewater in its project report and layout plan.
5 The project proponent is required to obtain from PWSSB to the effect that the current terminal STP of the city is adequate to bear the load of wastewater to be generated from the proposed project.
6. The project proponent has mentioned in its feasibility report has mentioned available green area @ 1587 sqm, which seems inadequate to consume the volume of wastewater to be generated in different seasons i.e. summer, winter & rainy season.
7. Further, the promoter company has not proposed to provide dual plumbing arrangement for re-use of the treated STP effluent for flushing purpose in congruence to the Board’s order no. 315 dated 05/07/2018. The promoter company is required to submit revised proposal accordingly.
As such you are requested to clarify the aforesaid observations within 03 days, so as to proceed further in the matter. Till then, the application submitted by the industry shall be treated as incomplete.
