• The industry is a cattle feed unit and was granted consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 dated 24.09.2018 (Valid upto 30.09.2023) for production of cattle feed @ 300 MTD by operating one boiler of capacity 0.75 TPH and STP for treatment of domestic effluent @ 12 KLD………...
• The industry obtained NOC for expansion under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 dated 20.05.2021 (Valid upto 19.05.2022) for installation of one wood fired boiler of capacity 2 TPH; 2 DG Sets of capacity 750 KVA & 80 KVA and one no. molasses storage tank of capacity 750 MT………..
• Now application applied for obtaining varied CTOs under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for production of cattle feed @ 300 MTD by operating 02 no. boilers of capacity 0.75 TPH & 02 TPH and STP for treatment of domestic effluent @ 12 KLD………...
• The visiting officer has reported that the industry was visited on 27.02.2024 and observed that the industry was in operation. New boiler of capacity 2 TPH installed with Multicyclone as APCD and another boiler of capacity 0.7 TPH installed with dust collector as APCD. Molasses storage tank not installed. The treated effluent after STP is discharged onto land for plantation. 03 no. DG Sets of capacity 750 KVA, 380 KVA & 80 KVA installed with canopy and adequate stack height. No violation reported under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981………...
• In view of above, if approved, varied CTO under the Water Act, 1974 be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2025, subject to the following special conditions that:-………..
1. The industry will not undergo any expansion w.r.t. land area/production capacity without obtaining prior written permission of the Board…………
2. The industry will ensure to get its effluent/emission sample analyzed from Board's lab/approved lab of the Board, within one month…………
