Kindly peruse the note of AEE. In view of facts mentioned in the agenda note of AEE, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 may be renewed to the industry upto 31/03/2027 (in consonance to the validity of air consent) with suitable conditions and following special conditions:
1. The industry shall comply with all the conditions of Environmental Clearance already granted to it under EIA Notification, 2006.
2. The industry shall comply with the provisions for abstraction of ground water of the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA).
3. The industry shall obtain NOC of the Board, if it changes any of its product or raw material or enhances its production capacity in future.
4. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent and shall not start wet process in its premises without prior written permission of the Board.
5. The industry shall only discharge domestic effluent onto land for plantation within its premises, after treated through STP.
6. The promoter shall not discharge the treated effluent into any drain or outside its premises.
