It is intimated that earlier, the project proponent had applied for consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for operation of DG sets of capacities 140 KVA was refused vide no. CTOA/Fresh/SAS/2023/24443230 dated 16.01.2024 due to some violations.
Now, the project proponent has applied consent to operate under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for operation of DG sets of capacities 140 KVA alongwith requisite documents.
Earlier, the project proponent has deposited Rs. 15634/- vide UTR No. N345232780208399 dated 12.12.2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate upto 31.12.2028 against the total cost of the project Rs. 22.33 lacs.
The project proponent has submitted allotment letter of Plot No. E-93, Industrial Area, Phase-8 issued by M/s Punjab Infotech.
The project proponent has submitted authority letter in which it has been mentioned that:
“Hereby solemnly affirm and declare that Mr. Amrinder Singh being Sr. Manager Admin is hereby authorized to act as an authorized signatory under the name and style Aerial Telecom Solution Pvt. Ltd., for which application for Pollution Certification registration is being filed under the Act. All his actions is relation to his business will be binding on me.”
The project proponent has submitted bills regarding purchase of DG sets. The project proponent has submitted analysis report of stack emissions of DG sets. The samples were collected by M/s Environ Tech Laboratories 02.12.2023, the conc. of the parameter were found within the permissible limits of the Board and tabulated below:

The project proponent has submitted site plan / building plan approved by Competent Authority.
The site of the industry was visited by AEE (OS) on 05.03.2024. During the visit, it was observed as under:
1. The unit is an IT Company.
2. The unit has not installed any boiler/ furnace and is not engaged in any manufacturing process.
3. The unit is not using any water in the process, therefore, no trade is generated.
4. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
5. The unit has installed 2 no. of DG sets of capacity 140 KVA each and which are equipped with canopies and stacks of adequate heights.
6. The unit is located in industrial area, which is suitable for such type of industries.
In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted till 31.12.2028 with suitable and additional conditions as under:
1) This consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 is only valid for installation of two DG Sets of capacity 140 KVA each.
2) The industry shall not start any other new process within its unit which may change its category from Green to Orange/ Red, without the prior written permission of the Board.
3) The industry shall not generate any trade effluent.
4) The industry shall obtain permission from other concern departments, if need be.
5) The industry shall apply for obtaining authorization under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016.
