The project proponent has applied for Consent to establish (NOC for first time) under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for setting up a unit for manufacturing of Bread and Bakery products @ 2.78 MTD by using Wheat Flour @ 1.8 MTD, Sugar @ 0.15 MTD, Oil @ 0.1 MTD, Yeast @0.1 MTD and Water @ 1.25 MTD.
The industry has filled online application form, Brief project report, site plan location plan, manufacturing process flow chart, Authorized letter, Lease deed, Copy of change of land use certificate issued by Municipal Town Planner, Ludhiana bearing no. 316/ATP-B/CLU dated 10.03.2016,
The industry has deposited Rs. 5600/- vide no. 329023284 dated 14.02.2024 as NOC Fee. The adequacy of fee deposited by the industry is upto 30.09.2025.
The industry was visited by officer of this office on 05.03.2024 and observed as under:
1. The industry has earmarked the boundary of the proposed industry and no construction work has been started.
2. Only the domestic effluent @ 0.4 KLD will be generated and effluent after septic tank will be discharge into sewer for further treatment in terminal STP of Jamalpur.
3. The cleaning of the pans used in the baking process will be done with the help of wonder wipes, which will be disposed off to TSDF NIMBUA.
4. The industry has proposed to install one D.G set of capacity 125 KVA with adequate stack height and canopy provided.
5. The site is suitable for such types of establishments as per CLU issued by the Municipal Town planner bearing no. 316/ATP-B/CLU dated 10.03.2016.
In view of above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to established' (NOC for first time) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for one year for manufacturing of Bread and Bakery products @ 2.78 MTD by using Wheat Flour @ 1.8 MTD, Sugar @ 0.15 MTD, Oil @ 0.1 MTD, Yeast @0.1 MTD and Water @ 1.25 MTD with suitable condition as per policy of the Board and with special condition that in case any washing effluent is generated, the occupier shall install proper treatment facility for its treatment before its discharge into terminal STP, please.
