The wastewater generated from the project will be treated in proposed STP of 16 KLD capacity based on MBBR Technology. Further, the treated wastewater will be utilized for flushing purpose, and excess will be discharged onto land for plantation. The project proponent has also attached the detail of proposed plantation area. The plantation area proposed by the project proponent is adequate as compare to the sewage generation from project.
In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to establish (NOC) for development of a 35 commercial shops at Malerkotla-Dhuri Road, Malerkotla in an area of 1.856 acres may be granted with usual conditions as per policy of the Board and special condition that
1. The project proponent shall install the STP of adequate capacity to treat its domestic effluent. 2. The project proponent shall reuse treated domestic effluent for flushing purpose. 3. The project proponent will be bound to develop the adequate plantation area for the disposal of its treated effluent.
