Discussed with CEE Sir, telephonically on 06.03.2024. It was noted that there is no other violation accept that sample arrangement has not been provided. The industry as a small wood fired boiler of 1.5 TPH.
It has been decided to grant consent to operate for shorter period of 6 months with special conditions that:
1. The industry shall provide a requisite sampling infrastructure including port-holes, platforms and/or other necessary facilities as may be required for
collecting samples of emissions from any chimney, flue or duct or any other outlets as per condition no. 8 of the Consent to establish (NOC) granted to it, .
with in 1 month under the intimation of Environment Engineer, PPCB, Regional Office-1, Jalandhar .
2. The industry shall deposit the requisite sample testing fees with Environment Engineer, PPCB, Regional Office-1, Jalandhar, within 01 month.
3. For Plastic packing, the industry shall complete all the requirement of Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) regime including registration with the competent Office/Authority as required under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016, within 01 month positively.
