It is intimated that the industry is a large scale red category unit. Earlier, the industry has granted consent vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2019/9699039 dated 08/07/2019 valid upto 31/03/2024 & under Water Act, 1974 & vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH2/2019/9698205 dated 20/08/2019 valid upto 31/03/2024. Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through requisite documents. The industry has deposited Rs. 5,28,000/- vide UTR No. 971249987 dated 01.03.2024 under Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 5,28,000/- vide UTR No. 676332962 dated 01.03.2024 under Air Act, 1981 against the fixed assets of Rs. 8064.92 Lacs which is adequate upto 31.03.2029.
The site of industry was visited by the EE alongwith AEE of this office on 22.01.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation at the time of visit.
2. The industry has installed one thermax boiler of capacity 06 TPH which is provided with multi-cyclone as APCD. Rice husk was being used as fuel. The air emission sample was collected by officers of the Board on 22.01.2024 and as per air emission analysis report SPM level is 63 mg/NM3 against the prescribed limit of 500 mg/NM3.
3. The industry has also installed one more boiler of capacity 06 TPH (standby) which is provided with multi-cyclone as APCD.
4. The industry has installed one electrically operated mandling/demandling section which is provided with bag filter house as APCD.
5. The industry has installed STP for treatment of its domestic effluent. The industry has also install Ultra-filtration and double stage RO plant for further treatment of STP treated water. Further the industry has also installed steam evaporator for RO reject.
6. The industry has repaired the suction points in the mandling/demandling section & carried out service of motors provided in the area. Further the industry has provided ducting at the backside, which has resulted in improved suction in this section.
7. The industry has installed 03 DG sets of capacities 02 of 1250 KVA & one of 180 KVA which are provided with acoustic enclosure.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.03.2028 with usual conditions.
