On perusal of the note history, it is intimated that the industry was visited by the Environmental Engineer on 09.02.2024 and observed that most of the observations have been complied with except the following:
1. The industry has informed that new wet scrubber has been got designed and purchase order has been given to M/s Kalyan Projects Construction Company, SAS Nagar on 05.02.2024. The same shall be installed by the industry latest by 01.04.2024.
2. Stack height of hot water generator was found 5 feet and the same will be increased by 10 feet by local fabricator within this month.
3. One LPG operated baking oven has been provided by the industry, but the stack of same is yet not provided. However, the company has undertaken to provide the stack latest by 01.04.2024.
It is further intimated that no report has been submitted by the industry w.r.t. the compliance of the above said observations till date.
In view of the facts mentioned above, it is recommended that another opportunity of personal hearing may be given to the industry before the Competent Authority of the Board. |
