The District Town Planner, Ludhiana vide memo no: 328 DTP(L)/M2A dated 07.02.2024 has submitted that the site of the industry measuring 6.6125 acres falls in the revenue estate of village Gaunspur, Tehsil Ludhiana West, District Ludhiana and site falls in “Industrial Zone” as per approved Master Plan, Ludhiana (2007-31). Industrial unit is allowed in this zone.
Keeping the above in view and note dated 27.11.2023, it is recommended that renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for manufacturing of Auto & Adv Tubes@ 24700 Numbers/Day and Adv Tyers @ 6000 Numbers/Day alongwith discharge of Domestic effluent @ 3.0 KLD onto land for plantation after treatment in STP may be granted to the industry for period upto 31.03.2026 subject to suitable conditions.
