File Note: Sir, with regard to deposition of Environmental compensation, the industry has submitted written request stating as under :- "Our Factory Premises Are Only In A Small 900 Sqft\100 Sq Yrd Factory Building Where We Used To Incorporate Some Manufacturing And Electroplating For Our Fasteners. 2. As Directed By The Board And Its Execs., We Submitted Proofs With The Board In Ludhiana That We Have Already Dismantled And Removed Our Machinery And All Wet Processes From The Said Premises And Only Require Permission To Run Dry Process There. 3. Due To A 9 Month Disconnection, We Have Faced Innumerable Losses. We Are A Woman Owned Micro Industry Which Was Barely Surviving The Onslaught Of Market And Covid Conditions, And Have Been Pushed Far Below In The Income Pyramid Than We Were In Earlier. 4. We Filed Cto Under Green Category In September 2023. Keeping All These In Mind, We Request You To Kindly Waive Off The Ec Charged To Us @ ₹ 1.50 L As We Do Not Have The Financial Capability To Carry This Extra Burden. We Are Already Paying Minimum Charges To Pspcl Inspite Of The Disconnection. All Documents Have Been Submitted To The Board Already, And Looking At The Delicacy Of The Situation, We Beg You To Kindly Reinstate Our Power Connection So That We Can Resume Earning Something. Have Not Committed Any Crime Or Unlawful Acts" As the industry has already removed the machinery and has suffered finicisal losses on account of non-operation for last one year, it is recommended that electric connection of the industry may be restored temporarily for six months and the industry be directed to pay Environmental compensation in equal monthly installments as soon as it resumes operation.
