This is an interdepartmental issue. Present recipient body of PSIEC effluent is MC who ultimately discharges effluent into Kala Sigha drain after treating through their STP. Proposed disposal of Kala Singha drain falls under the domain of Water Resource Department. M C is carrying out the lining work of Kala singha drain. Board time and again is asking PSIEC for
submitting scheme for reuse of treated effluent. This treatment scheme is either to be implemented by PSIEC with in their network area or by Soil conservation Department .
Ultimately, treated effluent is to be disposed some where and can't left unattended.
Submitted for SCN with hearing to PSIEC, who is the applicant. Rest of the stakeholder departments may also be called during hearing to find a permanent and interim solution.
