It is submitted that the industry was served with show cause notice for refusal of renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. 5025 dated 13/02/2024 with an opportunity of personal hearing before the Worthy Chairman of the Board on 06/03/2024. No one from the industry attended the hearing, however the industry vide its mail dated 11/03/2024 informed that the representative of the industry will not be able to attend the hearing, due to some unavoidable circumstances & he was out of station and requested you to give another suitable date for hearing.
May if approved, Competent Authority be requested to afford another opportunity of personal hearing to the industry, please.
