Case has been re-examined and found that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2018/7476647 dated 23.06.2018 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2019/9691559 dated 13.05.2019, both having validity upto 31.03.2023 for manufacturing of 5 HTP @ 1.6 Kgs/day, 10 DAB III @ 0.083 Kgs/day, Colchicoside @ 0.18 Kgs/day, Yohimbine (90%) @ 5 Kgs/day by using Griffonia Simplicifolia @ 15 MT/Year, Taxus Baccata @ 40 MT/Year, Gloriosa Superba @ 10 MT/Year, Johimbe Bark @ 145 MT/Year as raw material with subject to suitable conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has applied for renewal of CTOs for the same product as per application form.
