The proposed site of the project proponent was visited by the officer of the Board on 05.03.2024 and during visit, it was observed that the project proponent has developed 2 no. green parks of total area of about 2100 sqyards are located under the high tension power cables and no tall trees can be planted under these high tension power cables. Out of 2672 sqm area to be developed as per Karnal Technology, 1767 sqm area falls under these high tension power cables, therefore, plantation as per Karnal Technology cannot be developed in this area of 1767 sqm. Therefore, the project proponent is left with only 905 sqm area for disposal of 80 KLD treated wastewater, which is inadequate.
Thereafter, the project proponent was requested through clarification to submit details of land area (other than above mentioned area) to be develop as per Karnal technology within 02 days. However, the project proponent failed to submit the reply to the clarification till date.
It is requested to return the application as the project proponent has failed to reply to the observation noted during the visit.
