In view of the report/ recommendations given by Regional Office, may if approved, consent to establish’ (NOC) under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for establishment of Residential Township in an 9.911 acre with total no. of 109 Residential Plots and 28 no. commercial shops with one religious building be granted to the project proponent upto 24.07.2024 with suitable conditions and special conditions that :
1. The project proponent shall develop adequate plantation under Karnal Technology for disposal of the treated effluent.
2. The project proponent shall not dispose off its treated/ untreated wastewater into any drain/ choe/ nallah or in any other illegal mode of disposal.
3. The project proponent shall provide dual plumbing system to re-use the treated water for flushing purposes.
4. The project proponent shall comply with the provisions of Master Plan of Barnala, which is to be notified.
5. The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
6. The project proponent shall obtain permission from the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) for the abstraction of ground water and submit the same to the Board before commissioning of the project, if applicable.
7. The project proponent shall not generate and discharge any trade effluent without obtaining prior written permission of the Board.
8. The project proponent shall obtain necessary permission from the other Govt. departments.
9. The project proponent shall not install microbrewery without obtaining prior written permission from the Board.
10. The project proponent shall not carry out any activity, which is covered under EIA notification dated 14/9/2006.
