• The industry is spinning mill unit and was granted CTOs under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 from PBIP with validity upto 31.12.2023 & 30.09.2027, respectively for production of cotton yarn @ 106 TPD, Synthetic yarn @ 17 TPD, Synthetic yarn (shed-6) @ 31 TPD, cotton yarn (shed-8) @ 38 TPD and for discharge of domestic effluent @ 425 KLD, onto land for plantation in an area of 09 acres after treatment in STP of capacity 600 KLD………
• Now application applied for renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974……...
• The visiting officer has reported that the industry was visited on 05.03.2024 and found that the industry was in operation. STP of capacity 600 KLD installed, which was in operation, discharge onto land for plantation developed in an area of 09 acres. Effluent samples collected during the visit, the results of which are yet awaited. Compost machine provided for in-house management of bio-degradable solid waste. Permission obtained from PWRDA for abstraction of ground water………….
• In view of above, if approved, CTO under the Water Act, 1974 be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027/adequacy of consent fees, subject to the following special conditions that:-………….
1. The industry will operate its STP regularly & scientifically and shall maintain proper record of effluent generated/discharged…………..
2. The industry will ensure to no stagnation in the plantation area and will be bound to increase the same in case stagnation is observed in it at any time……….
3. The industry will get its effluent sample analyzed from the Board's lab/approved lab of the Board as per the policy of the Board………..
4. The industry will not undergo any expansion w.r.t. land area/production capacity without prior written permission of the Board……….
