The project proponent has applied for Consent to establish (NOC for first time) under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for setting up a unit for manufacturing of fabric @ 1600 kgs/day by using of yarn @ 1700 kgs/day.
The industry has filled online application form, Brief project report, site plan location plan, manufacturing process flow chart, lease deed, MOA certificate, certificate of incorporation, DTP letter bearing no. 3001 dated 22.12.2023.
The industry has deposited Rs. 8400/- vide no. 423693566 dated 11.03.2024 as NOC Fee. The adequacy of fee deposited by the industry is upto 31.12.2025.
The industry was visited by officer of this office on 12.03.2024 and observed as under:
1. The industry has earmarked the boundary of the proposed industry and no construction work has been started.
2. There will not be any kind of generation of trade effluent. Only domestic effluent will be generated. The industry has proposed to install septic tank for treatment of domestic effluent @ 1 KLD. The effluent after septic tank will be discharge onto land for plantation.
3. The industry has sufficient green area for disposal of domestic effluent.
4. There will not be any kind of boiler/furnace in the proposed unit.
5. The industry has proposed to install one D.G set of capacity 125 KVA with adequate stack height and canopy provided.
6. The site is suitable for such types of establishments as per DTP bearing no. 3001 dated 22.12.2023.
7. As per DTP certificate, the site is industrial and all type of industries are permissible at said location. The proposed industry being green category is also permissible to be established at said location.
8. The Hazardous waste categories which will be generated during operational phase are 5.1.
In view of above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to established' (NOC for first time) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for one year for manufacturing of fabric @ 1600 kgs/day by using of yarn @ 1700 kgs/day with suitable condition as per policy of the Board, please.
