On scrutinizing the application of the project proponent it was observed that the project proponent was earlier granted consent to establish (NOC) in year 2018. As per policy of the Board
“The validity of ‘consent to establish' (NOC) cannot be extended beyond five years from the date of issuance of the same, in any case. In case, any industry/project promoter applies for extension in the validity of NOC beyond the period of 5 years, then, such industry/project promoter must be asked to apply afresh for NOC from pollution angle and the same will be dealt/processed/decided as per the policies/guidelines prevailing at that time.”
