Sir, it is intimated that the industry is a large scale red category unit and was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 valid upto 31/03/2024.
Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
The report of RO has been pursued and it has been observed as under:-
1. The industry has failed to submit the detailed drawing of re-circulation of cooling water.
2. The industry has installed mandling/demandling section with bag filter house as APCD, but failed to submit the analysis report.
3. The industry has not submitted analysis report of second boiler of capacity 06 TPH which is provided with multi-cyclone as APCD.
4. The compliance report of consent conditions is not verified by RO.
If approved, RO may be requested to clarify the above and send recommendations accordingly.
