It is submitted that the industry was visited by undersigned 30.01.2024 for collection of effluent sample and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation for processing of milk.
2. ETP was in operation for treatment of effluent and effluent sample was collected from the outlet of ETP. As per results, the concentration of various parameters were found within the permissible limit (results mentioned above). The industry is maintaining record of ETP operation i.e. record of energy meter, record of chemical dosing, record of EMF meter provided at outlet.
3. The industry has provided plantation area in 2 acre adjacent to boundary wall of the industry for discharge of treated effluent. Treated effluent was being discharged onto land developed under plantation. The condition of the plantation area was found good.
4. The industry has installed 02 no. boilers, one of capacity 8 TPH husk fired FBC based having twin cyclone as APCD and other of capacity 2 TPH wood fired having dust collector as APCD and Both these APCDs have common stack of adequate height with adequate sampling arrangements. Both APCD's were found in operation and mostly clear smoke was emitted from stack outlet.
5. Fuel ash was being lifted by nearby farmers for use in agricultural field. No fuel ash was found disposed nearby industry.
The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 as well as hearing decisions.
Case is submitted for further action as already recommended vide note dated 11.03.2024, please.
