It is intimated that the subject cited industry was granted 'consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/LDH1/2019/9366446 dated 08.03.2019 valid upto 30.06.2023 and CTOA/Fresh/LDH1/2019/9366444 dated 08.03.2019 valid upto 30.06.2023 with name and style of M/s deeksha woollen mills, Village Raiyan, Kohara Machiwara road, Ludhiana for manufacturing of Knitted Cloth @ 1.53 MT/day by using of Polyster Yarn @ 1.73 MT/day with suitable conditions.
Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with the name and style of M/s Deeksha Woolen Mills Pvt. Ltd for same production and raw material. No change in machinery, product/raw material has been made and the present varied application is only for change in name of industry as stated above.
The industry has filled online application form, uploaded latest CA certificate, certificate of Change of land use issued by STP bearing no. 1040 dated 30.03.2016, manufacturing process flow chart, New GST number, Certificate of incorporation, compliance report of previous consent, site plan location plan.
The industry has deposited Rs. 14400/- vide no. N064242915045243 dated 04.03.2024 as NOC regularization fee, Rs. 151200/- vide no. N064242915045230 dated 04.03.2024 under Water Act, 1974 Rs. 151200/- vide no. N064242915040338 dated 04.03.2024 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31.03.2029.
The industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 13.03.2024 and it was observed that the industry was in operation.
1. The industry was in operation.
2. There is no generation of trade effluent and only domestic effluent was being discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank.
3. The industry has installed one thermo-pack boiler of capacity 600 U with cyclone separator as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry is using saw dust as fuel.
4. The industry has installed 2 no. D.G sets of capacity 250 KVA and 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
5. The industry has submitted CLU certificate vide no. 1040 dated 30.03.2016 mentioning that the site of industry falls in industrial zone.
6. The industry has already submitted approved building plan from Architect Approved by Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
7. The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as well as with the conditions of the consents earlier granted to it.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2029 with the name and style of M/s Deeksha Woolen Mills Pvt. with suitable conditions.
