In view of the report/ recommendations given by Regional Office, may if approved, consent to establish (NOC) for development of a residential colony at Near Moga T-Point, Barnala, Nihal Singh Wala Road, Barnala, Punjab in an area of 15.8875 Acres may be granted for one year with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and special conditions that :
1. The project proponent shall provide the dual plumbing for treated sewage and treated sewage will be used in construction activities and will develop the adequate plantation area with long trees in an area of 1.2 acres for the disposal of its entire treated effluent.
2. The project proponent shall not discharged its treated/untreated into MC sewer without obtaining prior permission from the Board.
3. The project proponent shall develop the adequate plantation area as per Karnal Technology with long trees for the disposal of its entire treated effluent @ 75 KLD if permission to discharge treated sewage into MC sewer not granted by MC/PWSSB.
4. The project proponent shall not dispose off its treated/ untreated wastewater into any drain/ choe/ nallah or in any other illegal mode of disposal.
5. The project proponent shall comply with the provisions of Master Plan of Barnala, which is to be notified.
6. The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
7. The project proponent shall obtain permission from the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) for the abstraction of ground water and submit the same to the Board before commissioning of the project, if applicable.
8. The project proponent shall not generate and discharge any trade effluent without obtaining prior written permission of the Board.
9. The project proponent shall obtain necessary permission from the other Govt. departments.
10. The project proponent shall not install microbrewery without obtaining prior written permission from the Board.
11. The project proponent shall not carry out any activity, which is covered under EIA notification dated 14/9/2006.
