It is submitted that in the review meeting taken by CEE(P) on 13.7.2023, it was decided that the consents for discharge into MC sewer may be given to such projects, which are having permission from MC regarding connectivity of MC sewer before 15.06.2022.
In the present case, the project proponent had earlier submitted letter obtained from MC, Zirakpur vide no. 2672 dated 21.10.2019 wherein it has been mentioned that the main sewer line of MC, Zirakpur is available in the area of the residential group housing project and the project proponent discharge its treated wastewater @ 63 KLD into the main sewer line after depositing the requisite charges and getting the permission/ completion certificate from the various authorities, which is well before the directions issued to MC Zirakpur by the Board on 15.6.2022.
Thus, PP can be allowed to discharge treated wastewater into MC sewer.
