It is intimated that earlier the industry had obtained consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for operation of the poultry farm (layer) having birds capacity @ 24500 Number/Year under Green Category.
Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for operation of the poultry farm (layer) having birds capacity @ 24500 Number/Year under Green Category.
The industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate due to increase in its water usage because of installation of dewatering machine meant for dilution (birds dropping) of slurry to be used in agriculture fields.
The poultry farm has already deposited Rs. 15000/- vide online UTR No. 694760073 dated 22/02/2023,Rs. 17400/- vide online UTR No. 6212783 dated 22/02/2023, Rs. 2900/- vide Ch No. 000455 dated 03/03/2023 &Rs. 2900/- vide Ch No. 000456 dated 03/03/2023 as consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 2900/- as NOC Regularization fee and Rs. 500/- as application fee against gross value of fixed assets of Rs. 73,22,235/- as per CA certificate submitted by the poultry farm and same is adequate for a period upto 31/12/2028.
The industry was visited by undersigned on 12/03/2024 and was observed as under:-
1. The Poultry farm unit of Broiler Breeder also exists at that area having 01 no. shed.
2. The birds cages were provided with conveyer system for sweeping out the birds droppings.
3. Further, birds droppings is being collected in a trolley after conveyer system and is further disposed at unknown places as demanded by the agriculture farmers. Some of the bird droppings were found disposed off in the premises at the time of visit.
4. The Poultry farm has installed dewatering machine at this point in order to convert these birds dropping thin slurry for its utilization into agriculture fields.
5. The unit has provided saplings around the sheds and fencing wall with steel wires has provided by the unit.
In view of above, it is recommended that the Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31/12/2028 for operation of the poultry farm (layer) having birds capacity @ 24500 Number/Year under Green Category. |
