It is intimated that earlier the consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted vide online reference no. CTOW/Fresh/PKT/2024/24528316 & CTOA/Fresh/PKT/2024/24528287 dtd 16/01/2024, which are valid upto 30/09/2028 for the production of Washed Crushed Bajri @ 2000 CFT/Day, Washed Sand @ 7000 CFT/Day & Silt @ 500 CFT/Day by using River Bed Material @ 9500 CFT/Day under orange category to the previous owner Sh. Krish Mahajan S/o Sh. Pankaj Mahajan.
Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS mode under orange category. The industry has submitted an Gift Deed along with application and intimated that the industry namely M/s Aradhay Stone Crusher has been taken over by its Sh. Pankaj Mahajan S/o Sh. Kailash Chander Mahajan, who is now the only owner of the said stone crusher.
The industry has already deposited Rs. 28,500/- vide UTR No.
70571537 dated 12/01/2024 & Rs. 28,000/- vide UTR No.
641562593 dated 12/01/2024 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 respectively, including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 97,87,000/- as on 31/12/2023 and same are adequate upto 30/09/2028 under both Acts.
The project proponent has also submitted Approved Building Plan from the competent person under the Punjab Factories Act, 1948 (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2028 with suitable along with special conditions :-
1. The stone crusher shall comply with the orders of NGT in O.A. No 57/2020 or any relevant orders of Competent Authority in related matter.
2. The stone crusher shall maintain the plantation cover around the periphery so as to comply with the code of practice.
3. The stone crusher shall comply with the new Environmental Guidelines issued by the CPCB for the stone crushing unit.
