The industry is a small scall red category unit and earlier the industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/LDH4/2018/7999844 dated 14.08.2022 valid upto 30.06.2022 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2019/8978091 dated 17.01.2019 valid upto 30.06.2022 subjected to the conditions mentioned therein……….
Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The industry has submitted requisite documents through OCMMS……………..
The industry has deposited consent fees, which is adequate upto 30.06.2026………..
To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the AEE of RO on 28.02.2024 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in manufacturing of agriculture implements.
2. The industry has installed one oil fired furnace and one annealing furnace with adequate hood/stack.
3. The industry has also installed one hot dip galvanizing plant but same was found defunct and not being operated since long.
4. The industry has also provided zinc plating process and same was not in operation. The representative informed that the electroplating was lying closed from last 02 years. They are now planning to operate the same after obtaining CTO.
5. The industry has installed new Water meter at source of fresh water supply in process.
6. The industry has provided a storage tank of capacity about 3000 Ltrs for storage of effluent generated from the process.
7. The industry has also installed one shot blasting machine with inbuilt bag filter house as APCD.
8. The industry had made MOU with CETP operator @ 15 KLM for lifting of effluent generated from the process.
9. The industry is discharging the domestic effluent into septic tank followed by plantation. 10. The industry has maintained record regarding fresh water consumption as well as trade effluent lifted to the CETP operator and consummate with each other.
10. One D.G set of capacity 100 KVA was installed and equipped with canopy.
11. The industry has submitted DTP letter vide no. 1902 DTP (L) 2LC dated 01.08.2017 intimating that:- ਉਪਰੇਕਤ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਪ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਸਾਈਟ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਤ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਪਲੈਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ (2007-21) ਦੀਆਂ ਤਜਵੀਜਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਜੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। As such, the industry is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
As proposed by RO report, may, if approved:
1. The varied consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2025 with usual conditions.
