The report /recommendations of Regional Office be perused. Further it is submitted that earlier the industry could not produce CLU or any other document regarding land use classification of area and was in operation without obtaining consent to operate of the Board. Thereafter, the industry was issued directions for disconnection for closure.
Now, the industry has submitted land use classification from Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar vide letter no. 2393 dated 23.02.2023 mentioning that the industry falls in special industrial zone and applied for consent to operate under the Water Act 1974 & Air Act 1981. The fee is adequate upto 31.3.2029
May if approved,
1) Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.3.2029 with suitable conditions.
2) Directions u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be restored electric connection permanently and plant & machinery be de-seal.
