• CTOs were valid upto 31.03.2024, subject to one of the specific conditions that the industry shall install ambient air quality monitoring stations within its premises, within three months………………
• Application applied for extension in the validity of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981…………………….
• The visiting officer has reported that the industry was visited on 06.03.2024 and found that the industry was in operation for LPG bottling. ETP of capacity 10 KLD provided for the testing of cylinders, however the same was non-operational due to non-operation of testing section. The effluent generated from the said process is re-used. Another ETP provided of capacity 10 KLD for washing of cylinders, which was in operation and effluent sample of the same was collected, the results of which are yet awaited. STP of 15 KLD installed and effluent sample was collected from the outlet of STP, the results of which are yet awaited. Discharge of the treated effluent onto land for plantation for which adequate plantation area developed………………….
• In view of above, if approved, consents to operate under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry with validity upto 31.03.2029, subject to the following special conditions:
1. The industry will operate its ETP regularly and scientifically and shall ensure to maintain proper record of the effluent generated/treated................
2. The industry shall ensure no stagnation in the plantation area and will be bound to increase the same, in case stagnation is observed in it, at any time…………….
3. The industry will get its effluent samples analysed from the Board’s Lab/approved Lab of the Board, as per the policy of the Board…………
4. The industry shall install ambient air quality monitoring stations within its premises, within one month................
