Fresh NOC applied
The industry has applied for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for production of DESI GHEE @ 1.0 MTD, BUTTER @ 1.0 MTD using RAW MILK @ 30 Kilo Liters/Day
Detail of the case are as under:-
1. The industry has submitted brief Project Report (as per which the total cost of project is Rs. 54.51 Lakhs and the cost of Plant & Machinery is Rs. 28.06 Lakhs). Accordingly, it has deposited Rs. 4100/- (including Rs. 500/- as application form fee) via UTR No. BARBR24029623141 dated 29/01/2024 as NOC fee, adequate upto one year
2. The industry has submitted report issued from DTP; Amritsar issued vide letter no. 1000 dated 10.08.2023 in which it has mentioned that the existing proposed site of the industry are not falls under local planning area/master plan and as per memo no. 2180-2283 dated 14.06.2023 issued by Director Town and Country Planning, Punjab the said industry is allowed.
3. As per application submitted by the industry total discharge of wastewater from the process will be 15 KLD. The industry has further submitted that for their proposed unit they will install ETP of capacity 30 KLD and treated effluent was being discharged onto land for planation.
4. The industry has proposed to install baby boiler of 800 Kg/hour in which the industry will use diesel as fuel. Therefore, no APCD is required to install with the boiler.
5. Further the industry has also submitted an affidavit that
That we shall utilize the treated effluent which shall arise for M/s Ganesh Mlk Products, Village Kotla Gujran, Fatehgarh Churian Road. Amritsar for plantation purpose as per Karnal Technology in our land measuring 0.742 acres bearing khasra nos. 25//1/2, 25//2/1, 25//1/3, 25//2/2, 25//9/1/1, 25//9/2/1, 25//9/3/1, 25//10/1.
It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries.
The proposed process of the project proponent falls in orange category in small-scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with The Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.
Keeping in view of above, may if approved, it is recommended that: -
The consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the period of one year with suitable terms & conditions. |
