The industry is small scale red category unit and is engaged in the zinc plating process………...
Earlier the industry was granted Consent to Establish/NOC vide no.CTE/Fresh/LDH4/2023/20490605 dated 06.02.2023, which was valid upto 05.02.2024 for Heat treatment/Zinc Plating of Bolts/Nuts/Washers @ 1200 Kgs/day and for discharge of domestic effluent @ 0.3 KLD into sewer and trade effluent @ 4000 ltr/month to be lifted to CETP Operator with suitable and special conditions mentioned therein………………..
Now the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for Heat treatment/Zinc Plating of Bolts/Nuts/Washers @ 1200 Kgs/day and for discharge of domestic effluent @ 0.3 KLD into sewer and trade effluent @ 4000 ltr/month to be lifted to CETP Operator…………..
The industry has deposited consent fee, which is valid upto 31.12.2029…………..
To verify the content and facts, the industry was visited by the AEE of RO on 13.03.2024 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry is in operation during visit and the industry is located in designated area i.e. Phase-8, Focal Point.
2. The industry has installed 03 zinc barrels, one acid filter, one rectifier. The industry has also installed 02 electrically operated continuous electric furnaces.
3. The industry has made an agreement on dated 05.01.2022 with CETP operator i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Ltd, Focal Point, Phase-8, Ludhiana for lifting of trade effluent @ 4000 Liters/Month.
4. The industry is maintaining the record of total water consumption viz a viz effluent lifted. 5. The industry has installed a water meter in process area. The record maintained by the industry is consonance with the water meter reading.
6. The industry has provided underground storage tank of capacity 2000 Ltr.
7. The industry has submitted approved building plan from authorized person, Sh. Mandeep Singh Saini recognized by Director of Factories, Punjab.
8. The industry has submitted copy of letter no. 10754-56 dated 09.11.2022 from PSIEC regarding change in name & style of K-188, Phase-VIII, Industrial Focal Point, Ludhiana in name of M/s Remexo Fastners Proprietor Sh. Jatinder Singh Kaloti S/o Sh. Arjinder Singh as a sole proprietor.
As proposed by Regional Office, may, if approved:
1. Consent to Operate under the , Air Act, 1981 may be granted up to 30.06.2029 with suitable conditions as per policy Board.
