Sir, CEE office raised a query to ask RO to discuss compliance wrt Plastic Waste Rules wrt raw material as well as products as 2160 MTD is huge quantity. Now, RO reported that as per application form the industry has mentioned raw materials as 2180 MT/ year whereas the product has been mentioned as 2160 MT/Year.
In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to Establish (NOC) under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with special conditions as under: 1. The industry shall got itself registered under EPR on centralized portal before commissioning the unit. 2. The industry shall not indulge in any process leading to the generation of trade effluent. 3. The industry shall obtain authorization under Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.
