• It is intimated that the unit is a 20 bedded hospital.
• The project proponent has applied for Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 to the Board through OCMMS of the Board for setting up new hospital with 20 beds capacity and detail of the same is as under:-
1. The project proponent has uploaded the change of land use certificate to granted permission for setting up Nursing Home/hospital building at Hoshiarpur Road, Kishanpura Chownk, Jalandhar issued by Local Govt. vide its letter no. 106025 dated 11.01.2023.
2. The hospital has deposited Rs. 1000/- vide UTR No. 840805388 dated 14.03.2024 as NOC fee, which is adequate for one year.
3. The project proponent has submitted site plan cum building plan by digital signed by Abhijeet Kaplish.
4. The project proponent has submitted detailed project report of the proposed hospital.
5. The project proponent has submitted registry of the land, water sewerage payment receipt, MSME certificate and proprietorship certificate with the application
6. The project proponent has proposed to install one DG sets of capacity 100 KVA with canopy at site.
• The proposed site was visited by AEE of this office on 19.03.2024 and it was observed that the proposed site is located at Adjoining Gupta Market, Kishanpura Chowk, Hoshiarpur Road, Jalandhar. The construction work of the proposed site is undergoing on and approx. 70% construction work is completed.
The project proponent has proposed to install 20 bedded hospital and the competency of case lies with Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-1, Jalandhar
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the hospital for one year with suitable conditions and with special condition that:-
1. The hospital shall obtain necessary permission from the concerned Departments, if required, if any, in future its own level.
2. The hospital will comply with effluent discharge standards prescribed in the Bio-Medical Rules, 2016.
3. The hospital shall take permission for the disposal of treated trade effluent into M.C sewer from Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar before its starting.
